ALBtelecom and Elbasan Municipality will offer wireless internet for free in the center and historical zone
Elbasan, February 02, 2011 NOA - ALBtelecom in cooperation with Elbasan Municipality will offer free wireless internet service in the city centre and historical zone. The project inaugurated by the General Director of ALBtelecom, Mr. Sevket ACAR and Mayor of Elbasan Municipality, Mr. Qazim Sejdini. The citizens of Elbasan and many tourists visiting historical area will be the main beneficiaries of this service provided by ALBtelecom and Municipality of this city.
The selection of this zone to perform this project by ALBtelecom and Elbasan Municipality has its goal to offer extra services for local and foreign tourists visiting the city of Elbasan. Except historical values and other services in this zone, the local and foreign tourists will have the possibility to discover or have more information about historical and tourist values of Elbasani zone.
During the inauguration ceremony, the General Director of ALBtelecom, Mr. Sevket ACAR, gave thanks to the Elbasan Municipality for cooperation to fulfil this service. He said that, this is only one of many ALBtelecom projects serving the community. He said that, the company is in the stage of intensive investments, especially in the field of internet and data service, focusing the clients and Albanian citizens. “We are satisfied to fulfil this project, giving as such to the citizens the possibility to enjoy many possibilities and facilities offered by internet. I stressed to Mr. Sejdini, that we are ready to support other projects as well, which will serve to the citizens of Elbasani”, said Mr. Acar.
He further said that ALBtelecom has planned serious investments this year in the infrastructure, through transforming completely not only the ALBtelecom offices, but also the quality and service facility. According to him, ALBtelecom will have very soon a new shop in the city of Elbasan and other cities as well. “We have made it clear and we are investing to increase the quality service under the motto ‘The client is our king”, said Mr. Acar.
The Mayor of Elbasan Municipality, Mr. Qazim Sejdini on his side, gave thanks to the governors of ALBtelecom for the support given to fulfil this project and said that, this service is another service to fulfil the needs of Elbasani citizens. “Elbasan Municipality is the first one starting to cooperate in this field with this Company. There are possibilities and fields of cooperation with ALBtelecom. We are ready to step forward in this direction with the only purpose of providing modern services to citizens of Elbasan”, Mr. Sejdini said.
ALBtelecom has opened in the previous month many new shops all around the country, 3 in the capital city, one in Durrës and one in Fier. Meanwhile, new and modern shops will start to operate soon in many other cities. In the months of December and January, ALBtelecom has performed a successful campaign through internet service offers, increasing as the demands of our clients and credibility of our company.
