Tirana, March 2, 2011 NOA - Prime Minister Sali Berisha held a meeting today with Italy’s ambassador to Albania, H.E. Saba D'Elia. The ambassador handed over to PM Berisha the letter of Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi carrying the invitation for Albania that in the quality of the privileged and priority country to take part in the Expo Milan 2015 under the theme “Feeding the planet, energy for life”.
Ambassador D'Elia conveyed to PM Berisha sympathy and best wishes of his government for the government of Albania and he in person and emphasized that Italy invites Albania into the group of priority countries which also have the decision-making right.
On his part, PM Berisha thanked the Italian ambassador and expressed his pleasure and gratitude for PM Berlusconi and pledged that Albania will participate with dignity in this Expo hosted by Milan, Italy.
