Tirana, December 6, 2011 NOA/ Rid Bulku - 2011 has been an important year for Vodafone Albania and its investments aimed at serving at best its customers. The company was honoured yesterday with two prestigious awards during the 3rd Infocom Albania Telecom Forum award ceremony, an event which honoured innovative companies, services, products and market executives for their contribution to the development of telecoms industry in Albania during this year, NOA.al Albanian News Agency reports.
Vodafone Albania received the award ‘3G Business Excellence’ for its investment to bringing the 3G technology for the first time in Albania and the award ‘Manager of the Year’ for the Vodafone Albania CEO Haris Broumidis.
During 2011 Vodafone Albania enhanced the strong leadership position in revenue market share within a highly competitive environment of four mobile operators and at the same time fostered brand leadership, expanded retail footprint and offered many novelty services through its brand new 3G network.
The 3rd Infocom Albania Telecom Forum was organized by Smart Press S.A. under the auspice of Ministry of Innovation and ICT, Smart Press S.A is one of the leading media companies in the telecommunication field, owner of numerous technology websites, printed magazines publisher and renowned conference organizer.
